Cometa is a work dedicated to education as well as to supporting minors and their families.
It is a constantly growing reality that, from the experience of education a few families had, has taken up fostering, education, and sharing of daily life as the guidelines to follow in its work.
Since 1987 Cometa fosters children, both in daily care or long-term ways, it supports families in their task of education, it works in the fields of prevention from dropping out of school, sports, formation and guidance. Today in Cometa, besides the 14 natural children belonging to the four families living there, 24 children are placed with the families on a long-term fostering basis.
